I was born in San Salvador, Central America. I started traveling at the age of 9, New York was the first city I visited and lived at. Until I was 14, I kept going in and out of San Salvador. Eventually, civil war in my country made my family and I moved to Arlington, Virginia for a while. A couple of years later my parents went back to San Salvador and I moved to Austin, Texas. In Austin, my godfather owned a business that made him travel a lot, it is then, as I started to live with him that I got to travel through out the United States and Central America; working with him. I always thought in sound, rhythm, and beats. I uncovered my passion for music amongst the sounds of bullets, violence, psychological emotional unbalance and traveling. As a kid, I was in my school choir but didnt know why. At 16, I learned how to play the guitar by ear, and from that point on, I was involved in bands, and song writing. Mostly, I did it because it made me feel good. It is at the age of 26 when I decide to leave San Salvador again, after my Father's passing, not knowing where to go? I followed a friend to Los Angeles.
It is in L.A that I met a world music producer at my work. He liked one song I played and later asked me to write a song for one of his female acts. I did, a year later, the song became a hit in Middle East. This is where I started...
The street beats of LA and late night Hollywood scene is where I currently live and perform. Destiny brought me to California. I write my lyrics and produce my songs in my studio. I love collaborating with other artists and experimenting with different genres of music. My favorite genre is World Music though, it the style that got me to where I am in entertainment now.
I find inspiration all around me. I try to make my music representative of myself and my generation. Every song I write is related to a personal experience, a moment in my life, that at some point another person can relate to when they go thru a similar moment.
