I was born in San Salvador, Central America. Civil war in my country made life incredibly dangerous for anyone . My parents were really concern about keeping me safe , so with lots of sacrifice they managed to relocate me to Austin, Texas.
I always thought in sound, rhythm, and beats. I uncovered my passion for music among the sounds of bullets, violence, psychological emotional unbalance and traveling. As a kid, I was in my school choir , I did not think much about it, one of the catholic brothers in charge of the choir was selecting kids and he picked me along with other classmates; I thought it was something that you had to do when you were in school. At 15, I learned how to play the guitar by ear, and from that point on, I was involved in bands, and song writing. Mostly, I did it because it made me feel good. As I lived n Austin , I kept playing music with friends but mainly for fun; I was really focus on my education . However, when I was 25 due to some trouble with the law and a bad break up with a girl I was really in love with , I decided to join a friend that was going to Los Angeles to follow an acting career, I was really confused and depressed about the way things were going for me so getting out of Travis county seemed like the thing to do to get away from my own drama .
It is in L.A that I met a world music producer at my work. He liked one song I played and later asked me to write a song for one of his female acts. I did, a year later, the song became a hit in Middle East. This is where my musical journey started...
I spent my time between Austin Texas and Los Angeles; and these two amazing cities is where I currently perform. I have a recording studio in Los Angeles. Lyrics and ideas come into my head at different times and places, however, once they flourished I can finished them in the studio. I love collaborating with other artists and experimenting with different genres of music. My favorite genre is World Music though, it the style that got me to where I am in entertainment now.
I find inspiration all around me. I try to make my music representative of myself . Every song I write is related to a personal experience, a moment in my life, that at some point another person can relate to when they go thru a similar moment.
